IPF Athlete News: Winter 2020

It is difficult to Update Everyone on the many Accomplishments that the Athletes + Adults Experience away from IPF, but we will attempt to do a better job handling all the information moving forward, because there is so much good news to share!

With that in mind, here is a 5-Point Blast right now on Recent Success:

Julia Nearis of Boston University Women’s Ice Hockey Team is currently the 2nd Leading Freshman Goal Scorer in Hockey East. A tremendous Achievement, and she is also helping the #8 Ranked Terriers to a tremendous Season…

Ryan Puglisi has been voted a Captain for Union Lacrosse. The Team is hard at work preparing for the upcoming Season, and Ryan is one of only a few Juniors to ever be elected Captain in the Programs History!

Sam Mewis scored 2 Goals for the USWNT  against Costa Rica during the Olympic Qualifiers.  4 days later against Mexico, Sam scored 2 more goals helping the US Women’s Soccer Team beat Mexico 4-0 and qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics!

Congrats to Colton Fahey who Committed to Bowdoin College to play Football. The entire IPF Community is pumped for Colton and is excited to watch his continued Development!

Mackenzie Kennedy has accepted a Position at Cal-State North Ridge and will start in July. Kenzie has been an Incredible Athlete, Coach and Leader at IPF and will be sorely missed! She will head to the West Coast a Champion, however, as her Endicott Gulls won the CCC Volleyball Championship with her as the Captain. She was further honored on the AVCA All-American Honorable Mention List.  Kenzie had a Great Year, and we are Pumped for her Success!
