IPF Athlete News: Winter 2020 Part 2

Abby Nearis, Brown 2021:              Abby finished her 3rd Season with Brown Women’s Ice Hockey, her 2nd as Team Captain. Although the Win + Losses were not in their favor, Abby demonstrated her Versatility as both a Forward and Defenseman. Abby has begun her Prep for a better year already, a testament to her Work Ethic…

 

Cam Gendron, New Jersey Jr. Titans:      Cam has more than doubled his Goal-Scoring total of last year (in fewer Games) and has contributed in every contest thus far this year. In a very tough, physical League, Cam has displayed both Skill, Toughness, and Durability. He is looking to close out the Season well and have a big Playoff run!

 

Tori Roche, Babson 2020:     Tori finished her Field Hockey Season as Babson 5th All-Time Leading Scorer, an Incredible Accomplishment as the Team lost in the 2nd Round of the NCAA Division 3 Tournament… But Tori is not done!Tori is the Starting Catcher for the Babson Softball Team and will be traveling to both Arizona + Hawaii for Games early this Season.2-Sport Collegiate Athletes are rare these days, and watching Tori excel has been exciting for everyone at IPF!

 

Madison Michals, St Marks 2020: Madison has had an outstanding season with the Women’s Ice Hockey Team. In her 1st year with her new team, Madison has stepped in and been their Leader in Ice-Time from her Blue-Line Position. A 3-Sport Athlete, Madison is slated to Play College Hokey next year at Vermont.

 

David Giribaldi, UMass-Amherst 2019:  The former Andover Basketball Star has return home to pursue a career in Entertainment. What he has also resumed, and in many ways surpassed, is his Health and Fitness. Working out regularly at IPF with Ice-Hockey Olympians Amanda Pelkey and Gigi Marvin, in addition to World Cup Soccer Athlete Sam Mewis, has propelled “Gira” to get in some of the Best Shape of His Life! Proving “You can come home again”, we are Proud of David for renewing his Focus on Fitness!
