When Walter Norton Jr. opened IPF in 2007, it was another accomplishment in a long line of significant achievements over 20 years of being in the sports and fitness industry. IPF was a unique opportunity for Walter to spend time personally with clients, including athletes, non-athletes, kids and adults, and to really affect lifelong change in people. Now, celebrating more than a decade in business, IPF is not only a state-of-the-art, high quality training facility in North Reading, MA, but also a place where some really incredible stuff is going on! Whether clients are having the chance to train with and learn from pro sports athletes, or the coaches are working with celebrities to get them buff for a movie, or the IPF team is running a workout to raise money for a local non-profit, IPF is more than a training facility; it’s a community.
Our four-legged family members like to spend their days hanging out at IPF too!

At IPF, we offer an expert opinion and, often, a different perspective on today’s most talked about practices related to training, nutrition, rest and recovery, and more, so that you can make wise decisions, take action, and get better.
